Event Bazaar
UI RedesignEvent Bazaar is an event management service provider. They mainly focus on cooperate events such as conferences and seminars, product launches etc. They have even expanded to manage events like birthday parties, venue decoration, home decoration and many more.
Redesign Requirements :- More use of white space because of media-rich app.
- Professional yet effective font with easy readability.
- Playful but still giving a professional look to target every aspect of the market.
- Keeping design minimal by using no fill service icons.
- Use of tab instead of the hamburger menu.
- Letting users stay more on the app rather than redirecting to other sources.
The splash screen appeared to have a loading figure which wasn't in sync with the app's structure. A logo being vibrant in color is a good fit with white background.
The home screen is media rich and required a fix with it's display of details too. With a little UX changes and having consistency with the colors and design made it appealing.
The services screen had some extra display elements and needed to be worked on prioritizing the content.The icons used are stock icons bringing in simplicity and static appearance.
The hotel listing had a 50:50 ratio cards displaying hotels which condensed the details and offers tag. The idea was to make the information about the hotel be more visible with modern design and structure.
The hotel details screen got a some redirecting link making user get outside the application and could be misleading. This page got the most information thus demanded an organized display.
The event details screen had perfect outline and the only change made is to align the design with the other pages.
The bookmark screen, undeniably featured it's functionality but the interaction is reduced. The brief details are required to let the user remind of what they saved.
The review screen is redesigned to the new style of the application with adding more explanation and synchronising with other screens.
